Raees with SRK in front is coming this January
Raees is not bringing romance or comedy but it surely brings a lot of action back to Bollywood for instance! The release date is 25 th January 2017 and that’s when we will finally have a chance to dive into this exciting story. The shooting took place in April 2015 and the main location was Mumbai to begin with. The whole making procedure was pretty intriguing also. The Archaeological Survey of India had and issue with the shooting at Sarkhej Roza, an ancient tomb complex and mosque. However, that was not the only legal notice because later on Musak, the son of a well-known gangster Abdul Latif, demanded a reason for filmmaking based on his father’s life.
The story of Raees
Raees Khan is a bootlegger with a developed business based on criminal and dangerous work. The story was set in the 80s. Moreover, the film shows the other side of the law and the relation between the main character and police as well.
The team
Rahul Dholakia is the director and joins the team of writers made of Harit Mehta, Niraj Shukla, and Ashish Vashi. The producers are Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Gauri Khan. Red Chillies Entertainment is the distribution and production company, along with Excel Entertainment. The music rights belong to Ram Sampath and K. U. Mohanan took care of the cinematography. One of the biggest Bollywood stars, Shah Rukh Khan is playing the main character in Raees. In the other hand, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are part of the cast as well. The length of the movie is 161 minutes, we are sure that every viewer is going each one of them.
