Nischal Basnet marries Swastima Khadka
This will surely leave the diehard fans of both the director/actor/producer Nischal Basnet and actress Swastima Khadaka heart broken. Many of you might have already experienced the stroke when you knew the hostel debutant Swastima and Loot famed director Nischal got engaged. Few months after their engagement back in December, the talk-of-the-town couple just got traditionally and formally married.The marriage ceremony was held at Royal Events Banquet and Restaurant, Tinkune on 17th February (of course, the Month of Love) among families and friends. And the wedding reception was held on February 18 at Megha Party Palace, Basundhara. Only few people from the film fraternity were invited.
The newly wedded bride Swastima debuted as an actress in Hostel Returns and so did Nischal Basnet as a director in Loot. An unreleased flick titled “Madhuro Raat Ma” is featuring the gorgeous Swastima, hopefully in the lead. After Loot, director Basnet has also worked as an actor in Kabaddi , produced both Kabaddi and its sequel, and directed another 2014’s super-hit “ Talakjung Vs Tulke “.
34-year-old Basnet is a graduate of Oscar International College of Film Studies while 20-year-old Khadka is an intermediate in Architecture. We at NepaliFilm.net congratulate the couple and wish them a happy married life ahead.
