Hostel Returns box office report
Just in two weeks from its release, Nepali movie Hostel Returns has made a huge gross of 2 crores. Despite the strikes and the unstable situation of the Country, Hostel Returns, still managed to mark a record in the box office. The producer of the movie Hostel Returns, Sunil Rawal shares his excitement regarding the movie’s splendid collection on social media. He urge Nepali movies goers to watch his flick in theatres. Movie is being screened in 40 different cinema halls all over Nepal.
From wikipedia, Hostel Returns is a 2015 Nepalese teen romance film directed by Suraj Bhusal and produced by Sunil Rawal under Durgish Films banner. This film is a sequel to 2013 film Hostel and is based on the hostel life of civil engineering students. Despite being the sequel of Hostel, no previous stars are cast on this film . In fact, the film stars new faces of Sushil Shrestha, Sashi Shrestha, Swastima Khadka, Sushil Sitaula and Abhaya Baral.
The film was originally set to release on 8 May 2015 but due to devastating Nepal Earthquake that struck on 25 April 2015, the crew postponed the date of release. It was then released on Bhadra 4 (August 21, 2015).
Meanwhile, the other Nepali movie Bhairav has also, unofficially, reported to have marked 2 crores in box office. Resham Filili is apparently doing very well in the market as well on its second release.
