Rekha and Nikhil together in Lootera
Actress Rekha Thapa and action hero Nikhil Upreti are said to be sharing screen after eight-long years. Himmatwali actress Rekha and Nikhil will be featured in an upcoming Nepali film Lootera. Said to be produced by Gopal Kayastha, a distributer, will be directed by Sabir Shrestha.
The news the actors duos sharing screen has surfaced in Nepali media, however they haven’t signed a contract yet- just a verbal agreement has been made. ‘Ae Pandit Baje’, ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Nikhil Dai’, Pale Dai , Karmayoddha, Barmala , and Dobato are some of the hit movies they have done together.
Distributer Gopal Kayastha is trying to reestablish the disturbed relationship between Thapa and Upreti. They have not been in good relation for last half a decade. Rekha was told to be doing an iten girl role in Nikhil’s to-be-released movie Bharirav, however nothing is yet known. Rekha Thapa’s another movie directed by Sabir Shrestha, Tathastu is in the theatres door to release on Poush 25.
Aryan Sigdel, Jeewan Luitel, Sabin Shrestha, etc are other actors whose relation with Rekha Thapa need to reestablished.
