Watch INFA Award HongKong 2014

INFA Film Award Hongkong 2014 was Presented by Nepal club HongKong and Organized by International Nepal Film Academy at Yuen Long Hall HK on 26 Oct 2014.
Several Nepali film makers, celebrities, and artists were present in the first ever International Nepali Film Award. Various local artists had performed in the event and Malvika Subba’s upcoming movie How Funny was promoted on-stage.

In an award function,Nepali movie Nai Nabhannu La 2 and it’s cast and crew grabbed maximium award in several categories including ‘Best Film’. Bikash Acharya received best director for his direction of Nai Nabhannu La 2, Suraj Singh Thakuri for ‘Co-Actor’, Priyanka Karki for ‘Co-Actress’, Basanta Sapkota for ‘Musician’, Dr Krishna Hari Baral for ‘Lyrics’ and Prem Pariyar got award for the best playback singing.
Similarly, Aryan Sigdel got the best actor award for nepali movie Madhumas and Namrata Shrestha the best actress for nepali film Maun. Suraj Subba Nalbo received best script award for Biteka Pal, Nabin Gauli and Suraj Bhusal got best story for Maun, Jharna Thapa for her negative role in Kohi Ta Cha, Sitaram Katel for his role in Cha Ekan Cha, Milan Amatya for his singing in Kali, Anmol KC a debut actor in Hostel.

In the INFA award 2014 in Hongkong, actor Daya Hang Rai and Priyanka Karki got the title of the ‘Most Popular Actor and The Most Popular Actress’ respectively. Life Time Achievement Award was offered to Producer Uddhav Poudel for his contribution to Nepali film sector.

The first International Nepali Film Award (INFA) was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Development Prakash Man Singh.
