Manisha Koirala And Rekha Thapa Fighting Against HIVAIDS
Actress duo Manisha Koirala and Rekha Thapa, lately, popular for their divorce issues are all set to fight against HIVAIDS.
In the occassion of World Aids Day on December 1st, National Center of AIDS and STD Control has elected the actresses as Goodwill Ambassadors to help the organisation’s effort in combating against the spread of HIVAIDS.
The member of 4th National AIDS Conference organized by the Ministry of Health and Population/National Center for AIDS and STD Control(NCASC) along with its partner, Rishi Raj Ojha stated that , when the celebrities speak up or raise their voice it is likely to be effective to the public. Further, he said Koirala and Thapa are bound to spread or deliver the messages in various social programs/events for another 3 years.
Being excited to speak up against the diseases, Thapa pledge that she would do her utmost to assemble the supports for HIV affected people from the government level and several organizzations. The duos are attaining the 4th National AIDS Conference(1-4 Dec) in Pokhara to vow to speak up against HIVAIDS. The event is going to be inaugurated by President Ram Baran Yadav. As a reminder, evergreen actress Karishma Manandhar was the last years Goodwill Ambassador.
