‘.Caravan is the only nepali movie nominated for ‘Oscar Awards’ in the history of nepali movies.After the 5 months research on the parasitic Himalyan caterpillar fungus basically known as ‘Yarsha Gumba’ or more colloquially ‘Himalayan Viagra’, Eric, lately produced ‘Himalayan Gold Rush’ based on the ‘Himalayan Viagra'(Yasagumba).Eric who has been accustomed with the Nepali culture, environment, weather and climate for last 30 years has completed the shooting of his new movie in Nepal and Hongkong.At a press meet on last Friday in Kathmandu Eric stated that he has invested around 1.5 million US dollars on the movie which is based on the story in reagards to th search of Yarsagumba in the Himalayas.The supports from Nepalese have made him able to produce sucha good movie said Eric.The director who is also set to direct couple of more movies informed that ‘Himalayan Gold Rush’ is commercially releasing on the 11th of January 2013 for which QFX Cinemas will be supporting.Ashok Sharma, the president of Digital Cinema Nepal, on the other hand urged Neplaese to respect and honour Eric for his great deeds and further added that Eric’s new movie would be the inspiration for nepali film makers.
