GAJALU (2016) Movie Premiere
GAJALU unit organized a red carpet premiere at Kumari Cinema in Kathmandu Yesterday. Movie casts and crew and several other celebrities attended the event, where almost all of the guests dropped their positive response on GAJALU.

Whilst GAJALU is receiving positive feedback from the attendees of premiere show, the movie is taken off right after the first show from Gopi Krishna Hall. Due to the overflow of audience, the production unit demanded another hall for GAJALU, but Gopi Krishna Hall denied providing additional space to GAJALU. Producer Rohit Adhikari complains due to the hall manager’s monopoly, the unit is compelled to drop the movie. Complains have been heard that Gopi Krishna prioritize Bollywood and Hollywood movies far more than Nepali movies. Earlier, KABADDI KABADDI came through similar issue with Gopi Krishna and didn’t screen any shows Gopi Krishna hall.

Movie based on the story of living Godess Kumari of Nepal is directed by Hem Raj BC . This is the third venture where director BC and second generation superstar Anmol KC have teamed up. Duo’s earlier flicks HOSTEL and JERRYY went over well. Former miss Nepal Shristi Shrestha marking her debut in the film fraternity portrays the role of KUMARI in the movie GAJALU. Menuka Pradhan , Gaurav Pahari , and Salon Basnet are other actors in the lead role.
