First 3D Nepali Film ‘Vigilante’ Fixes Its Release Date

First nepali movie based on 3D(three-dimensional) technology ‘Vijilante’ has fixed its release date on 9th Chaitra. Young director Dipendra K. Khanal after the grand success of ‘Chapali Height’ is introducing 3D technology in his recent movie ‘Vigilante’ which is his greater contribution to the film industry. He is the first to venture this expansive technolgy investing around 20 hundred thousands of nepali rupees just for cameras and some around 7 hundred thousands in post-production work which is undergoing now. He is displeased with other film makers’ unfaith on his work. Director Khanal speaking to filmykhabar said that ‘Vigilante’ is a challenge to those who believed that nepali could never make a 3D movie. He further said ‘ perhaps the movie has some weakness technically but i have given my best shot to make it something best for the moviegoers . Offcourse, due to the lack of enough screens to give 3D movies its fullest possible run, the movie itself is another big challenge for him but he is still up-and-coming about his movie’s market. Currently, only QFX Central and Kumari Hall have the projectors and other upgrades necessary to show movie in the format but in addition to these halls movie will also be shown in some other 2D screens said Khanal.
Movie produced by Khanal himself with the investment of around 1 Crore nepali rupees features Subash Thapa, Priyanka Karki, Raj Ghimire, Menuka Pradhan and Dipsikha Shahi in main roles. The cinematography of the movie ‘Vigilante’ is done by Purusottam Pradhan.
